Daniel Cook is a game designer, pixel artist, painter, tools designer, product manager and marketing guy. Danc is responsible for all the graphical design of Tyrian, including all the sprite and cutscene artwork of the game. Tyrian was his first job as a game designer.
After Jason Emery made the game's source code open, Danc also released the game's graphics as open source on his personal blog.
