The Assassin Ship is a recurring boss from Tyrian, appearing twice during the first episode and later as a regular enemy in one of the secret levels. It is Vykromod's personal ship.

The Assassin Ship appears as a large ship resembling a scorpion. It slowly moves around the screen, constantly shooting a five bullet spread. After a while it will launch its two pincers diagonally while firing five streams of bullets in different directions. After taking enough damage it will start firing bullets directly at the player.
On the rematch in the Assassin level it has been upgraded, being able to fire missiles, a thick laser beam and a barrage of bullets in the player's direction. In this rematch the player must destroy the two pincers before being able to damage the boss directly.
