Nose of Zinglon is the final boss of Tyrian.

The Nose of Zinglon appears as giant disembodied nose.The fight is quite long, as the boss has multiple stages:
- First the player must take down a red core behind the boss which comes out to shoot at the player.
- After that the player must destroy the boss's tongue, which launches fire waves and spits small mines.
- Next the player must destroy the two eyes. The can detach from the main body at will and attack with lightning bolts.
- In the next phase the boss will be surrounded by a circle of rocks which rotate counterclockwise and shoot at the player, while the boss moves within the circle. The player must destroy the red core.
- In the final phase the player finally engages the nose itself, which moves randomly around the screen and shoots at the player.
